Welcome to Ryki, the city whose history started in 15th century. Established as a royal village, Ryki became a city in 1957. Now, the town is the residence of powiat (Polish administrative unit equivalent to district), as well as the centre of big community. The city is situated on a very important road Warszawa - Lublin and railway track Dęblin – Łuków. Its historical, geographical and ethnic factors made the city the centre of many local and regional activities and let the city successfully play leading role in this part of voivodship.
