The city of Ryki (21o56'E, 51o38'N) lies in the north-western part of Lubelskie Voivodship at the southern edge of Mazowiecka valley, between two rivers: Wieprz and Vistula. The city is situated on national road number 17 that connects Ryki both with Warsaw – the capital of Poland, and Lublin – the voivodship’s capital city.
These big cities are quite close to Ryki: Warsaw - 100 kilometers and Lublin - 63 away from here.
The area of whole community is 161,7 square kilometers, and its highest point – 170 m – is set between Ryki and Rososz village.
